Kisha e manastirit te\u0308 Dec\u0327anit pe\u0308rmban zbukurimet me\u0308 luksoze dhe me\u0308 te\u0308 pasura te\u0308 artit mesjetar serb ne\u0308 gdhendje, si dhe numrin me\u0308 te\u0308 madh te\u0308 afreskeve te\u0308 periudhe\u0308s se\u0308 Mesjete\u0308s.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kisha e Dec\u0327anit, pe\u0308r shkak te\u0308 force\u0308s dhe larte\u0308sise\u0308 se\u0308 nde\u0308rtese\u0308s, si dhe bukurise\u0308 se\u0308 fasade\u0308s, c\u0327do ve\u0308zhguesi, pa pe\u0308rjashtim, i ngjall admirim. Pe\u0308r ke\u0308te\u0308 arsye, ky Manastir u quajt \u201cVisoki\u201d (i larte\u0308), sikurse njihet nga te\u0308 gjithe\u0308. Se\u0308 pari, nde\u0308rthurja e brendshme dhe e vec\u0327ante\u0308 arkitektonike e kishe\u0308s te\u0308 le\u0308 pa fjale\u0308. Ajo e\u0308shte\u0308 nde\u0308rtuar ne\u0308 forme\u0308 bazilike me pese\u0308 nefe dhe me kupole\u0308. Nefet ane\u0308sore jane\u0308 me\u0308 te\u0308 shkurte\u0308r dhe nga ana lindore, te\u0308 gjitha nefet mbyllen me absida ne\u0308 madhe\u0308si te\u0308 ndryshme. Nga ke\u0308ndve\u0308shtrimi liturgjik, kisha ndahet ne\u0308 tri pjese\u0308: Shenjte\u0308rorja, Naosi dhe Narteksi (Parakisha). Naosi pe\u0308rfshin tre nefet e kishe\u0308s. Parakliset ndahen nga Naosi me pllaka te\u0308 larta gure\u0308sh. Ato jane\u0308 pajisur me elemente zbukurues skulpturore. Nje\u0308ra ndodhet ne\u0308 fasade\u0308n pere\u0308ndimore, nde\u0308rsa tjetra tek absida e Shenjte\u0308rores. Parmaku i te\u0308 dyja dritareve, korniza e brendshme dhe tamburi i tyre, jane\u0308 stolisur me ornamente skulpturore. Gjithashtu figura te\u0308 plota skulpture ve\u0308rehen edhe mbi kapitelet e kornize\u0308s se\u0308 jashtme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ne\u0308 tamburin e dritares se\u0308 Shenjte\u0308rores e\u0308shte\u0308 gdhendur nje\u0308 hardhi me gjethe te\u0308 dendura, ne\u0308 te\u0308 majte\u0308 te\u0308 se\u0308 cile\u0308s gjendet nje\u0308 lugat dhe ne\u0308 te\u0308 djathte\u0308 te\u0308 saj, nje\u0308 kuc\u0327ede\u0308r qe\u0308 pe\u0308rpin nje\u0308 njeri, nde\u0308rsa ne\u0308 tamburin e dritares pere\u0308ndimore e\u0308shte\u0308 paraqitur ikona e she\u0308n Gjergjit qe\u0308 vret dragoin.
